Constructed using a 36gram EPS core, each board is hand laminated using Epoxy Resign and a combination of Biaxial Fibreglass on the deck and ultra light Vector Net on the bottom resulting in a durable board the feels super smooth in a wide variety of conditions!
Vector Flex has been engineered to maintain stiffness through the centre while increasing flex through the nose and tail utilising a combination of netting and fibreglass that has been designed to withstand high velocity impact resulting in a natural flex pattern and connection to the wave face that is lacking in other EPS/Epoxy surfboards!
Biaxial Fibre Glass has half its fibres aligned along the length of the cloth (0 degrees) and half across the cloth (90 degrees) creating a controlled flex pattern.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) foam is very light and strong. EPS foam has more buoyancy and floatation increasing paddling speed and manoeuvrability.
Epoxy Resin is a healthier alternative to polyester releasing 50-75% fewer VOCs into the environment.
